Cover letter closing paragraph examples
The closing paragraph of your cover letter should tell the employer what they are supposed to do with the information you have sent them. Usually, you should tell them how you could be contacted for an interview or when you would be available to meet with them.
Here are three examples of a closing paragraph:
"I will be in your area after January 1st and would welcome the opportunity to discuss my candidacy. I will call then regarding a possible meeting."
"My knowledge of industrial design, combined with my enthusiasm for public service, makes me an excellent candidate for this position. If I have not heard from you by the 14th, I will contact you regarding the status of my application."
"I would like to meet with you to discuss the possibility of working with your company and will call you the week of September 9th to arrange a meeting."
